Songs to Heal and Empower 2023 was the product of a period of R&D, starting during the pandemic, where Samia built her own home studio, began learning about recording, music production and mixing with financial backing from The Arts Council of England, regular support from London based sound technician and artist Camilo Tirado, and working closely with the Home Recording Academy (HRA) run by Dr Isobel Anderson, to produce this groundbreaking genre-defying new work.
